Quality marks the difference
In a large food enterprise like the Berlys Group, all operations take place according to a strict management system designed to ensure quality and achieve excellence in each and every one of its actions.
Since February 1997, Berlys has held the ISO 9002 Company Registration Certificate granted to its Quality Assurance System which governs the manufacture of its products. Registration is also recognised by EQNet (the European Network of Certification Bodies).
Renewed annually, this Certificate was awarded by the Spanish Standardisation and Certification Association (AENOR). In February 2003, Berlys took a further step in its progression toward Total Quality, obtaining the ISO 9001 Company Registration Certificate also conferred by AENOR. This Certificate covers the company’s entire quality management system at all levels, including after-sales and control of the Regional Offices. Berlys has since June 2002 held the most demanding European Quality Certificate, from the BRC (the British Retailers Consortium). This Consortium comprises the United Kingdom’s largest distribution companies, such as Tesco, Harrods, Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s, Body Shop and Boots among others. Berlys is certified by AENOR to manage the design, marketing and distribution of frozen doughs for bakery, pastry and patisserie, the first company in the bakery and doughs frozen sector to secure these Quality Certificates.
