Berlys participates in the “Daily Bread” Campaign
"Daily Bread" is an initiative promoted by virtually the whole of the Spanish bread sector through INCERHPAN (the Inter-Professional Food and Agriculture Organisation) to stop and reverse the decline in consumption of this food basic to a healthy, balanced diet.
One of the campaign’s most important aims is to foment scientific research to promote and demonstrate the evidence that bread consumption is beneficial to people’s nutrition and health, as part of the Mediterranean Diet.
Berlys participates actively in "Daily Bread" with its resources and invaluable experience in this sector.
The scientific content of the “Daily Bread” campaign is endorsed by the Scientific Bread Committee made up of Professor Ángel Gil, Professor of Molecular Biochemistry at the University of Granada; Dr. Ana Sastre; Professor Lluis Serra, Professor of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria; Dr. Carmen Benedito of IATA-Senior Scientific Research Council (CSIC); Dr. Consuelo López Nomdedeu, member of the Carlos III Institute; and Professor Rosa María Ortega, Professor of Nutrition at the Complutense University of Madrid.
